Health at Work Conference

§  Health At Work Conference- South Carolina State Museum- Thursday May 19th- Downtown Columbia. 

On Thursday May 19th, SCAHP will be partnering with the SC State Health Plan to help bring Dr. Ann Kulze and other
 
 professional healthcare speakers to Columbia for a one day event you don't want to miss.  An exciting agenda for the day
 
has been planned.

SC Alliance of Health is working in a collaborative partnership to sponsor this exciting program.  The program will be held at the South Carolina State Museum in Columbia, South Carolina.  The "Health at Work" conference will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. It will support statewide clinical education for up to 120 of the medical and professional health & wellness coordinators for the State Health Plan.   There will be six live educational sessions on health & disease prevention offered by local community healthcare leaders and educators.

The six educational sessions will address the following topics:  Nutrition for Wellness including those with chronic diseases like hypertension, heart disease and diabetes; Cooking for Life, Mediterranean Diet & Lifestyle choices; Office Ergonomics; Improving the Environment for Lifestyle change & Pain Management; and Living well with Preventative Benefits.
